When I started this blog, I decided to only write about writing. I didn’t want to be one of those people blabbing about the insanely boring details of their life. Also, I wasn’t sure how much of myself I wanted to put out there in Web Space.

  1. Hey, I’m really glad I found this. I’m very much in the same boat, and as it turns out NOT writing about writing is really hard! I’m getting ready to self-publish my first novel, and like so many writers I neglected the whole ‘platform building’ bit for way too long. So I read a few books and they all told me I need to blog about ANYTHING other than writing. . .

    And it’s going okay! I’ve been enjoying trying to show who I am as a person through blogging about deep stuff, ridiculous stuff, and even the occasional music video. The best part, however, has been discovering this rich community of other bloggers trying to figure it out.

    So good luck branching out! I’ll be keeping my eye out for your posts.
