Such a sad photo. My kids would have had more than a lot of kids if this had happened when they were little. They had a swing set in the yard, a long driveway for chalk drawings, and each other. Still it would have been hard.
My initial response was to the many lines in this photo. Reminded me of those perplexing drawings by MC Escher. Also that the lines are primary colors.

If the slide was a staircase, it would fit right in with some of his work…minus the colour 🙂
