Most pop music videos seem to be weird for the sake of weirdness. This one actually succeeds. The penguins and gorilla had me laughing. I thought for a moment of Freddie as the MC in Cabaret singing to the gorilla the infamous song that is generally cut from the show.
I can’t believe I forgot that last line! I had to listen to 2 versions of the song before finding it.
Joel Grey made the roll of MC his, but I would have loved to have seen Allan Cummings take on it on Broadway 🙂
